When we worked out the initial details for Hello Hair Co, sustainability of our staff was a top priority. Here are a some fun facts about HHC co-owners Todd and Jen. •They met somewhere around 1998, while working in a restaurant together. If anyone has an actual year let us know. 😆 •Their first apartment was in Haverhill MA. •When Jen moved to Londonderry Todd said “I don’t think I can go out west.” He’s a seacoast kid at heart. 😐 •Todd finally braved the Oregon Trail to join Jen “out west.” 🐂 •They got married in St. Croix USVI in 2007. 🏝 •They have 3 kiddos. How did barbering become part of Hello? Honestly, Jen asked a question and it happened. Here’s the quick version of the story. Todd and Jen were at a hair show in Boston. Throughout the evening, they met and spoke with a bunch of people. Many asked “Todd, do you do hair?” Todd didn’t do hair. He had joked about it, but it wasn’t even on his radar. On the drive home Jen asked, “What if you did do hair? What if you became a barber? What would it look like if we partnered and opened a salon with both beauty and barbering?” Todd, paused for a second then replied, “I don’t know.
